Eroe interiore
The work INNER HERO is the embodiment of the archetype of Theseus, Warrior of the Soul. It is a visual meditation on the need to face and assimilate one’s own Shadow in order to forge a new psychological armor.
This sculpture strips the hero of outward triumph to focus on the most crucial conflict: the inner one. The bull skull is not a trophy, but the heavy symbol of the Minotaur that dwells in the labyrinth of the soul. Defeating and wearing the skull symbolizes the act of courage needed to assimilate one’s dark side and to mature a new spiritual armor. The Labyrinth, carved, is the metaphor of the mind and of the life path necessary for growth.
Every element is a guiding symbol. The Thread of Ariadne, clenched in the hand, represents theUnconscious becoming matter, the key to balance and to the conscious act of self-salvation. The luminous Third Eye Triangle signals the need to transcend ordinary perception, while the steel spheres in the eyes act as a mirror. This mechanism directly invites the viewer to recognize their own potential strength, to see the Hero that resides within.
Through this dialogue between matter and meaning, INNER HERO offers itself as a mirror: not an answer, but an invitation to feel.
